1. How many additional drivers can I add?
Three drivers in total are allowed per car. This comprises the main driver plus two named drivers.
2. How will loveelectric keep clients and customers updated on changes in legislation which impact Electric Vehicles?
loveelectric will email out any relevant communication to customers as and when required, informing of the change and how this will impact them.
3. Can a potential customer see a vehicle in person before committing to a lease?
We recommend you call your local dealership to arrange a no-obligation test drive - that would ensure we remain neutral and can source you the vehicle from a dealership with the best lead time out of our nationwide network of dealers rather than being tied to your local dealership.
4. If I am interested in leasing a vehicle, but the lead time is not showing on the site, what would that mean?
In that scenario, you will have the option of selecting an option to request the lead time using the in-app chat box and we will come back to you as soon as possible.
5. What makes LLG insurance right for me?
As the business is the customer of the lessor, the vehicles need to be insured in the name of the business and fully comprehensive - this is commonly known as fleet insurance . We have integrated with LLG's dynamic pricing API, meaning you will get a representative quote based on your exact situation - the car, the lease terms, your salary, and postcode. We do not mark up the price, so you get the most value which can also be salary sacrificed to benefit from the tax savings.
We take care of the admin, so there is no additional burden for you.
LLG fix the premium for the full length of the lease, so no need to re-insure every 12 months and the premium won't change if you move address or changes mileage
LLG will write a note at the end of the term to confirm that there have been no claims on the policy (should this be the case), which is widely accepted in the personal car insurance industry and should protect and add to any no-claims bonuses.
6. At what point in the ordering process is the price locked in?
Mostly, the price is locked in when your order is placed and confirmed, however, very occasionally, a manufacturer might impose an increase overnight, and insist that all current orders are re-quoted. We would always give you the option to cancel if this happened. Thankfully, it is very rare.
7. What happens if I go over mileage?
It would depend on the vehicle - charges will be set out on the order form for over exceeding mileage. However, we will encourage you to check your mileage regularly, and if you look like you might exceed, we can help you to amend the contract.
8. What if I need to cancel my lease e.g. I've found a new job?
We have built in an ‘early termination protection’ into the cost of your lease. This covers a number of scenarios. They are all outlined in your driver handbook, which you will get a copy of when you place an order, but the highlights are below:
If you change employment during the lease of the term, we could either;
a) novate your contract to another employee within the company
b) transfer the contract to your new employer (if they agree)
c) pay one month's rent as an admin fee and you will be released from the contract (unless you are resigning within three months of taking the lease – in which case you are liable to pay up to 50% of the outstanding lease value)
If you experience long-term sick leave (longer than 4 weeks), again you can pay one month's rent as an admin fee to be released from the contract.
9. Am I covered for maternity leave?
In the case of maternity or paternity leave, there are a couple of options here. You can continue to lease the car, as long as your salary stays above minimum wage with the salary deduction on your maternity/paternity pay levels. The early termination protection cover means you can keep the car rent-free for up to 12 months during your leave period, however, please note that you will no longer be able to make a future “early termination” claim against that particular vehicle, so if you are not planning on returning after your leave it is best to terminate the lease rather than taking the instalment protection.
10. Are all makes and models available?
All makes and models of EVs on the UK market are available. We have access to over 300 dealerships as well so we scan the market for the best possible lead times/availability. Occasionally, one model will be discontinued at the last minute and without prior notice, but our system is updated daily. If you cannot find what you are looking for in the app, please ask our Customer Success team ([email protected]) and we will find out if the car is available in the UK.

11. What does the price include?
The price you are quoted includes your brand-new EV, car tax, routine servicing and maintenance, replacement tyres due to wear and tear, fully comprehensive insurance (if requested), accident management, breakdown assistance and recovery, early termination protection and MOT (where relevant).
12. Is the price fixed for the duration of the lease?
Yes, the gross price is fixed from the point of delivery. The only variables that would change your monthly cost are changes in Benefit in Kind (BIK) tax rates and employee income tax and National Insurance rates. With BIK rates, they are set at 2% for the tax year from 2022 to 2025, and then increase by 1% from 2025 to 2028.
13. Can I add a private reg plate?
Yes, the employee should let [email protected] know as soon as possible about a private plate. You may need to pay an additional fee (depending on the dealership), and the plate must be removed at the end of the term. If you have ordered a Tesla, the personal number plate needs to be arranged by you post-delivery. We can assist if needed.
