Documents you'll be asked to sign as the employer offering the EV benefit: what to expect and when

A guide to the documents employers need to sign when setting up or managing a loveelectric scheme, including when to expect them and how to sign.

As an employer running an EV salary sacrifice scheme, you'll be asked to sign a small number of documents at key points. This article explains what each one is, when you'll receive it, and how to sign it.

Master Hire Agreement (MHA)

This is the main contract between your company and the leasing provider (e.g. Lex Autolease, Novuna, or Marshall). It must be signed before your first employee order can be processed.

  • Lex Autolease: sent via DocuSign; must be signed by a UK-based director listed on Companies House

  • Novuna: sent via OneSpan e-sign; requires an ID verification step before signing. If you're unable to access the e-sign, please contact [email protected] and we can assist you with a wetsign document instead

  • Marshall: requires a wet-signed original sent by post

DocuSign emails arrive with the subject line: "Please sign this document from loveelectric". If you haven't received it, check your spam folder or contact us to resend to a different address.

Contract amendments

If a lease is amended (for example, a mileage change), you may receive an updated addendum to sign. Our team will contact you directly when this is needed.

Haven't received a document?

If you're expecting a document and haven't received it, email [email protected]. Let us know the employee's name and the type of document, and we'll resend it or check its status with the leasing provider.
